Veronica has been writing for her own enjoyment since she was 8 years old. Dear Mr. Henshaw by Beverly Cleary introduced her to the world of writing and inspired her to become a published author someday. At the end of 2002, she saw her first byline in print. Her creative nonfiction story, "Carousel", was published in the anthology, Forget Me Knots... from the Front Porch.
