Opportunities for Writers: RITRO.com is a volunteer web community based on Real Insight Through Raw Opinion. If you'd like to become a part of the RITRO.com staff via a position as writer or editor, please fill out the application form below.
*Staff Writer*
Members of the RITRO.com staff begin their journey as staff writers. When editors need material, staff writers are asked to provide articles on specific topics, or for specific departments. Writers may also query each department editor with any article ideas they wish considered. Our members generally volunteer to contribute posts on the message boards and vote at the polls at least two days a week. Writers may also be asked to contribute to staff discussions regarding newsletters, informative content, etc.
Decisions affecting the production and publication of RITRO.com will be posted for staff as voting polls, so that each decision is a group effort. Staff writers are strongly encouraged to keep current with the staff e-mail list provided through yahoo groups. Lastly, staff writers are asked to help provide comments and critiques when other staff members post articles to the list for review.
Staff members are showcased on the staff page at RITRO.com, therefore, we invite all staff members to provide a biography of 400 words, with a professional-tone, please. It is important for staff members to respect leadership, guidelines, deadlines, and the need for them. Staff members should recognize and be familiar with RITRO.com's format, content, privacy policy and submission guidelines.
